I started playing flight simulators 12 years ago on an old 486PC it was a flight sim called Operation Overlord made by Rowan that you had to use with a keyboard, you could choose between a Mustang, Spitfire and a Typhoon and the graphics were terrible. After that i moved onto Microsoft Flight Sim 5, the graphics were terrible.
Then i started playing the Microsoft Combat Flight Sim series, i started on CFS1 where i flew the Hurricane and then 2 months before i quit it i discovered i was an awesome Mustang pilot so i wasted 2 years in a Hurricane. Teams i were in included SAS, VR, VM & MAX. While i played CFS1 i also started playing CFS2 which i thought was rubbish so i just decided not to play it again.
In late 2003 i decided to start playing flight sims again and turned to iL2 Forgotten Battles for the first time, in 2004 i joined =AFJ= and i have been on the team since playing in a couple of competitions and campaigns, my favourite planes are the Bf-109K4/G2, P-47D, P-51D, Fw-190-A/D-9 |
